Michael Imbro, a 12th grade student at The Rugby School at Woodfield, was named a state winner in the 2016 Art Educators of New Jersey Youth Art Month, YAM Exhibit. Michael was recognized for his original artwork, a painting in abstract expressionism.

The NJ State YAM Exhibit is a once in a lifetime opportunity for art students. Each county in the state is asked to submit 6 pieces of artwork to represent the county. This artwork is selected by a panel of art teachers in each county and must be created by students of current AENJ members.

The 2016 State YAM Exhibit was held from March 4th to March 11th at the Statehouse in Trenton. Over 100 pieces of NJ student artwork will be on display from every county in the state!
